As women we always have many things on the go and sometimes we need reminders of little tips and tricks that can help us with our day to day life. Starting from lifestyle tips to the latest benefits of unknown beauty products here are the tips and tricks we think that every girl has the right to know.
Coconut Oil: Make coconut oil your new best friend!! It is amazing for your skin, hair and your gut health. After shampooing your hair in the shower melt your coconut oil, apply a generous amount of the oil to wet strands and twist your hair into a bun. Let it sit for at least five minutes and you will love the results. You can also use coconut oil as an amazing light body moisturiser. Ice Cubes: Rub an ice cube over your face before applying makeup. This will help to close pores and reduce redness for amazing glowing skin. It will also make your makeup last longer!
Lips: Line and blend the outer edges of your lips with concealer to make your lips pop and to prevent your lipstick from bleeding.
Get rid of excess fat and toxins: The mixture of honey (be sure to use raw honey with no added preservatives) , lemon and cinnamon together in a cup of warm water is not only delicious but great for weight loss as well as removing excess toxins from your body. Honey helps with improving digestion and is a natural sweetener with great nutritional properties. Lemon is great for increasing your metabolic rate and cinnamon stabilizes blood sugar levels. This is the perfect tea for the morning and before bed.
Lovely smelling hair: Very lightly spray your hairbrush with your favourite scented perfume and gently brush through. Your hair will be left with a gorgeous scent.
Healthier Hair: Wash your hair in warm water to remove build up and grime, after you have done this end your shower by rinsing with cold water. This will seal the moisture into your hair and skin, adds shine and prevents frizz.
Eyelash Growth Serum: Mix the following together- 1/2 tsp Vitamin E, 1/2 tsp Agran oil, 1/2 tbsp Almond oil and 1 tbsp of Castor oil. Apply this mixture to your lashes daily with a mascara wand for thicker and longer lashes.
What to keep on your bedside table: Here are the items you must keep next to your bed. First off makeup wipes, it is so important for the skin that you sleep with a fresh face free of makeup. Ideally you should cleanse your face every night but for those that don’t, having makeup wipes close to you ensures that even if you forget to remove your makeup you are able to do it quickly and easily before falling asleep. Paw paw cream, this stuff is your best friend when it comes to having dry lips. Apply before bed and first thing in the morning for plump fresh lips. Lastly a book, having a book handy for those nights that you cant seem to switch your mind off is great. You will start to relax and fall asleep very quickly.
